Dispute between building contractor and advisor solved through mediation

CONTRACTOR  – A building contractor and his advisor disagreed during the process of rebuilding a home about what role the advisor should play. The contractor then chose to hire a different advisor.

As the renovation continued, the contractor discovered that the input delivered by the first advisor could not be approved by the authorities.  The contractor believed that this had created extra expenses for him.

After a couple of hours of mediation, the parties were both able to lay out their expectations for the first part of the renovation, and found a common solution in which the contractor let his demand for monetary compensation drop, and the advisor agreed to offer assistance to the new advisor in the form of information about the work done previously.
